Updated: 06 Sep 2009 RECTOR, William RussellSapulpa Herald, Creek Co., OK 08-28-1988 Mr. William Russell Rector, 86, 80 W. Mike, died Saturday at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa. Services are pending. Mr. Rector was born July 29, 1902, Kentucky. He lived in Akron, Ohio and worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co where he retired 1967. Mr. Rector moved from Phoenix, Ariz., to Sapulpa in 1986 and was a member of Southside Christian Church of Sapulpa. Survivors include daughters Mrs. Lowell (Mary Lou) McCoy of Sapulpa and Maxine Rector of Phoenix; brothers Stephen, David, and Edward of Barberton, Ohio, James of Port Clinton, Ohio; sisters Evelyn Gaines of Indianapolis, Ind., and Virginia Richey of Barberton _______________________________________ RECTOR, William Russell Sapulpa Herald, Creek Co., OK 08-29-1988 A memorial service for Mr. William Russell Rector, 80 W. Mike, are scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday at Southside Christian Church with Russell Casey officiating. Smith Funeral Home is charge of arrangements.
