Updated: 06 Sep 2009 REDDEN, Viola LeeSapulpa Herald, Creek, Co., OK 01-01-1989 Mrs. Viola Lee Redden, 54, of 807 N. Eighth St., died Friday in an automobile accident. Service arrangements are pending with Owen Funeral Home. Mrs. Redden was born on Aug. 23, 1934, in Cartersville, Okla., and had been a Sapulpa resident since 1966, moving here from Tulsa. She was a supervisor at Hissom Memorial Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, John E., in June. Survivors include sons Harold Gowen of Tulsa, Chief James Cruse of Virginia Beach, Va.; daughters Jessie Johnson of Sapulpa, Goldie Strang of Greenville, Texas, Linda Maddux of Tulsa and Ada Allison of Tulsa; brothers L. T. Blaylock, Monroe Blaylock, and Otto Blaylock, all of Tulsa, and Henry Blaylock of Calhoun, Okla; sister Marie Fields of Tulsa; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
