The Rev. Lawrence M. Reed, 85, died Friday, March 10, 1995 in Tulsa. 

Services were Monday at Landmark Tabernacle in Sand Springs with the Rev. Gary Norris, the Rev. Vernon Jarvis, the Rev. Jeff Hough and the Rev. Bill Rich officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn memorial Park in Sand Springs, directed by Mark Griffith Memorial Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel in Sand Springs. 

He was born June 17, 1909 in Fayetteville, Ark.

He was a decorated World War II veteran, serving in the Army Air corps in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Sicily, Naples Foggia, Southern France, Rome and Arno. He received the Good Conduct Medal, Distinguished Unit Badge, Silver Service Star and Bronze Service Star. He was a member of the American Legion. 

He was pastor at Keystone Assembly of God Church. He built the Skyview Assembly of God Church, now known as the Prattwood Assembly of God Church, and was pastor there for 21 years. 

Survivors include his brother, Harvey Reed, Cincinnati, Ohio; and a sister, Ethel Vermillion, Sand Springs.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy F. Reed; a brother, Gene C. Reed; and a sister, Madge Wyche.
