EUFAULA, Okla. - Mr. Floyd Clifton Reed, 72, Eufaula, died Sunday at Community Hospital Lakeview in Eufaula.

Services will be 2 pm Wednesday at Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church, McAlester, with the Rev. Albert Jarrett officiating.

Burial will be at Bower Cemetery, Eufaula, under the direction of Black's Funeral Home, Eufaula.

He was born July 28, 1914, near Bower, and grew up in Pittsburgh County.

Mr. Reed married his first wife, Ruby, in 1939 in McAlester. She preceded him in death in 1986.

He moved to Kellyville in 1953 and worked as a maintenance engineer at Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital, Tulsa, until his retirement in 1975, when he moved to Eufaula.

He married his second wife, Mary, last January in McAlester, and was a member of the Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include wife, Mary; daughters Wilma Jean Sokolis, Geraldine Harwood, Marilyn Pridmore and Barbara Stockton, all of Kellyville; sons Wilburn Rogers and Jim Reed, both of Houston, Charles and Kenneth, both of Tulsa, Donald of Fort Worth and Dale of Kellyville; sisters Clara Warrington of Texas, Lavona Smith of Sapulpa and Maudine Emigh of California; brothers Albert and Virgil, both of Tulsa; 21 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
