Mr. Donald M. Richards, 64, of Tulsa died Tuesday at Veteran's Hospital, Muskogee.

Services are set for 10 am Thursday at Green Hills Mausoleum Chapel, with Revs. Lee Raney and Robert Lightfoot officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Richards was born March 14, 1923 in Newton County, Mo., but lived in the Sapulpa area most of his life.

He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a prisoner of was in Japan for over three years. He received the Oklahoma Medal of Valor and three Bronze Stars.

Mr. Richards was employed as an oil and gas accountant for several oil companies in Tulsa.

Survivors include his son Mark of Tulsa; daughters Gaye Richards and Robin Thomas of Tulsa; sister Janette West of Oklahoma City; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 7-8 pm today only.

The family suggests that in lieu of other remembrances, donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
