Mae Melvina Richardson, 86, 8914 S. 49th W. Ave., Tulsa, died Saturday, Oct. 14, 1995 at Tulsa Regional Hospital. 

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church Chapel in Sapulpa, with the Rev. John Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, directed by Owen Funeral Home.

She was born May 13, 1909 in Sulfer [Sulphur] to Gifford and Edna Abney Talmage. 

She married Harry Richardson in Tulsa in 1928.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Sapulpa, the Dorcus, Rebecca Circle and the Presbyterian Women’s Association. She had lived in the Sapulpa area since 1954, coming from Tulsa. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Harry A. Richardson, Oceanside, Cal.; a daughter, Edna Green, Tulsa; a brother, Gifford I. Talmage, Oklahoma City; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, in 1993.

The family will headquarter at the family residence at 8914 S. 49th West Ave. the day of the service. Owen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
