SEIGLE RICHEY
DIES FOLLOWING
LATE OPERATION
FUNERAL SERVICES FOR YOUNG SAPULPAN WILL BE HELD SUNDAY AFTERNOON
Seigle Richey, 27, who had been ill for two weeks died last night at 11:20 in
the Morningside Hospital at Tulsa.
His death was caused by a ruptured appendix and consequent pneumonia
complications following an operation on Saturday afternoon.
He is the only child of Mrs. Della Richey of 224 South Water street.
Other survivors include cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Huycke of the home address,
an uncle here Dr. A.C. Frampton and a cousin Alfred Frampton of Tulsa, an uncle
and aunt of Tulsa, Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Veale and another cousin of Tulsa, Leo
West.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Presbyterian
church with Rev. C.D. Todd officiating. Interment will be made in the South
Heights Cemetery. Lewis and Landrith undertakers, are in charge of the
arrangements.
Richey was born in Sapulpa, October 9, 1909. He attended grade and high school
in Sapulpa and attended the University of Oklahoma for three and a half years.
He was a member of the Sapulpa High School HI-Y society, active in school
organizations here, a member of the Presbyterian church and a member of the
local Junior Chamber of Commerce.
For the past four years Richey has been connected with the Diamond Service
Station.
His father preceded him in death four years ago.
