Berl J. Riggs, 70, 310 W. Taft, died Monday at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10 am Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. David Houchin officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Riggs was born March 7, 1921, in Wellington, Kan., and was a Tulsa resident most of his life.

He was a retired postal worker and a veteran of World War II. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include daughters Debra Clark and Linda Knisley, both of Sapulpa; brothers Bill Riggs of Smithton, Ill., and Delbert Riggs of Wellington, Kan.; and two grandchildren.
