Herman Nicholas Riser, 78, of Tulsa, died Wednesday in Tulsa.

Funeral services were held today at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, Tulsa, with the Rev. J.B. Shinn officiating.

Burial followed in the Floral Haven Cemetery.

Mr. Riser was a 1930 graduate of Sapulpa High School and was retired from Leland Equipment. He was an active member of the Nogales Baptist Church, Tulsa, and a member of the Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief Unit, going to Mexico City and the Dominican Republic.

Survivors include brother Joseph Riser of Altadena, Calif.; sisters Jessie Palinski of Sapulpa, Armilda Long of Tahlequah, Freda Downing and Mabel Riser, both of Tulsa.
