Lifelong Sapulpa resident Hobert M. Robertson Jr., 66, 1 Carridge Road, died Saturday at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
Services are pending with Smith Funeral Home.
Mr. Robertson was born Jan 15, 1923, in Sapulpa. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, past commander and
member of the American Legion, Elks Lodge, Kiwanis Club, Sapulpa Chamber of Commerce, Green Country Travel Club and served as president and a board member of the Sapulpa Rural Water District for 25 years.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp as a pilot during World War II and attained the rank of captain. He was associated with the Rule Furniture Company for 42 years. He married Jackie Rule March 6, 1943 in Corsicana, TX.
Survivors include wife Jackie of the home; mother Blanche Robertson of Sapulpa; son David K. Robertson of Sapulpa; daughter Deborah Smoke of Spavinaw, OK; sister Velma Thompson of Sapulpa; three grandchildren and one great-grandson.
