DEATH CLAIMS
W. H. Roderick
W. H. Roderick, 1123 East Jones street, died this
morning of apoplexy after an illness of only a few
hours. He had been employed as janitor at the
Washington school for over 13 years.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs.
Fred Treib, Mrs. Oren Hyland and Doris Mae Roderick
of this city. He is survived by two sons, W. P. of Tulsa
and C. M. Roderick of Sapulpa.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at
Ridgeway Baptist Church with Rev. J. E. Outlaw,
pastor of North Trenton Baptist Church of Tulsa, officiating.
Interment will be made in South Heights Cemetery.
Lewis-Landrith are in charge of arrangements.
Roderick, who was 53 years old, was born in Crawford County at Cuba,
Missouri. He had lived in Sapulpa
since 1918.
