William Romine Passes Here

William F. Romine, 61, passed away Saturday afternoon at his home, 655 N. Elmwood Avenue.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday in the Foursquare Gospel Church, with the Rev. W. L. Canter, pastor of the church, to officiate. Burial will follow in the Olive Cemetery, with the Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

A native of Tennessee, Mr. Romine came to Lindsay from Oklahoma in 1956.

He is survived by his wife, Minerva; one daughter, Mrs. Bertha Nichols of Sacramento; one son, Charles of Kellyville, Okla.; four sisters, Mrs. Madie Kelly of Campbell, Calif., Mrs. Mamie Gearin of Vinita, Okla.; and Mrs. Lou Hawerton [Howerton] of San Angelo, Tex.; four brothers, John and Horace Romine of Kellyville, Charles of Campbell and George of Sapulpa, Okla.; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
