Updated: 06 Sep 2009 ROSS, HenrySapulpa Herald, Creek Co., OK 10-03-1988 Mr. Henry (Brown Mule) Ross, 68, of Route 2, died Saturday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center. A prayer service is set for 7:30 pm Tuesday at Smith Funeral Chapel and the body will be moved to the Pickett Chapel Indian Methodist Church Wednesday morning. Funeral services will be 2 pm Wednesday with the Revs. Thomas Long and Louis Harjo officiating. Burial will be in Cunseh Cemetery. He was born July 30, 1920, in Sapulpa and was a lifelong resident. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was disabled from war injuries. He was a member of the Church of God. Survivors include mother Mrs. Lou Anna Barnett of Sapulpa; daughter Erma Jean Fletcher of Sapulpa; brothers James H. Barnett and Waitie Barnett of Sapulpa; sisters Mary J. Watashe and Annie Helen Watashe of Kellyville, Nancy Jo Harry of Mounds and Jeri Kinsey and Sally Bruner both of Sapulpa. The family will headquarter at the Kinsey home, 616 N. Elizabeth.
