Gerald R. Rowland, 64, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am Tuesday at East Memorial Chapel with Dr. Dwight Lowrie officiating. Burial will be at East Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home, Texarkana, Texas.

Rowland was born Jan 8, 1928 in Cherry Box, Mo. He served in the United States Marine Corp. In World War II, Korea and the Vietnam conflict.

He was a member of Eylau Baptist Church.

Survivors include wife, Dorothy J.; daughters Paula Lea Devine, Queen City, Texas, and Judy Beth Kragel, Sapulpa; brother Jack, of Westerville, Ohio; sister Dorothy Wadley, of Sapulpa; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 Monday at the funeral home.
