Jimmy Dan Russell, 44, 1917 S. Independence, Sapulpa, died Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Thursday, at Glenwood Assembly of God with Rev. Paul Thomspon and Rev. Gary Thiessen officiating.

Burial will follow at Magnolia Memorial Gardens in Bristow under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

He was born Nov 9, 1948, in Bristow. Russell was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and employed as an inspector for Word Industries.

Survivors include his wife, Janie; mother, Dovie Russell of Bristow; son, Jimmy Dan, Jr. of the home; daughters, Jennifer Gale and Jo Anna Jill, both of the home; brothers, Mac Russell of Palm Beach, Fla., and Fred Russell of Sapulpa; sisters, Leona Keeling and Carolyn Wade, both of Kellyville, and Ann Lawrence of Bristow.

Funeral services for Jimmy Dan Russell were held at 2 pm this afternoon at Glenwood Assembly of God with the Reverends Paul Thompson and Gary Thiessen officiating.

Burial followed at Magnolia Memorial Gardens in Bristow under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Serving as casket bearers were Michael Russell, Junior Keeling, William B. Cooper, Jr., Charles M. Cooper, Kelly D. Cooper, and Charlie "Red" Mitchell.

Honorary bearers were Mike Frisbee, Gary Holderfield and Toddy Russell.

Russell died Tuesday at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
