Funeral services for Zennie B. (Chuck) Self, 84, of Kellyville died Saturday at home.

Services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Smith Funeral Chapel.

Burial is to follow in the Sunrise Cemetery, Kellyville, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Self was born February 2, 1909 in Bristow and was a Kellyville resident since 1942. He was a retired mechanic and also collected utility bills at Kellyville for many years. He married Estelle Clay on Nov. 26, 1932 in Bixby.

He was preceded in death by parents John and Dollie Self; brothers Elza and Dubbs Self and a grandson, Virgil A. Johnson.

He is survived by wife Estelle of the home; daughters Jean Johnson of Tulsa, June Nelson of Kellyville, and Louise McGuire of Sapulpa; brothers John (Red) Self of Selma, CA, Melvin Self of Shawnee, E.N. (Slim) Slef of Bristow, and Huber Self of Manhattan, KS; sisters Ruby Carlock and Violet Blair of Selma, CA, Jewel Turner of Fresno, CA and Preasie Pickett of Bristow; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at the Sam and June Nelson residence, 14643 Maple Drive in Kellyville.
