BRISTOW - Mr. James (Jim) O. Sherrer, 84, of Bristow, died Friday at the Glenpool Health Center.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Tuesday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Donald Barefoot officiating.

Burial will be at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Sapulpa.

Mr. Sherrer was born March 14, 1904, in Des Arc, AR. He was a Sapulpa resident for many years before moving to Bristow in 1981.

He was a member of the American Legion and the Kellyville Methodist Church. Mr. Sherrer was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife Armilda; stepdaughters Virginia Latham of Sapulpa, Josephine Bunch of Bristow; stepson Ted Bunch of Sapulpa; brothers Herb of Louisana, Roy of California; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at the Carman Latham residence, 507 Fairland Drive.
