Irene Elizabeth Englen Sherrill of Sapulpa died Sunday, March 10, 2002, at the Ranch Terrace Nursing Home at the age of 89. Irene was born Nov. 19, 1912 in Sapulpa.

She had worked for Bartlett-Collins Glass Co. and for Madison. She was a member of the Sapulpa Rebekah Lodge.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Oris Englen, in 1969 and her second husband, Ted Sherrill, in 1982 and one son, Oris Eugene Englen, in 2001.

Survivors are one daughter, Patsy "Pat" Hardy of Sapulpa; grandchildren Randy Hardy, Richard Hardy, Michael Eugene Englen, Carolyn Maureen Englen Duncan, Ginny Irene Englen Bevel and Tracie Louise Englen Heimbach; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sherrill have been set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2002, in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Asher officiating.

Interment will be in the Green Hill Memorial Gardens under the direction on the Smith Funeral Home.
