OILTON,-: May ..9--(Special)—Services
for Frank Shuey, 76, resident of
Oilton 26 years, were In the Baptist church at 2:30 pm Monday.
Burial
was in
Oilton cemetery.
Shuey, a native of Arkansas, was reared near Tahlequah. Indian
Territory. In 1910 he homesteaded in Kiowa county, and farmed
there until he moved with his family to Oilton in 1922.. He had
farmed in the Oilton area until his retirement in 1941.
Survivors include his wile, Mrs. Maude
Shuey, five daughters and
three sons: Mrs. Henry Lomenick, Mrs. C. L. Kinney, Mrs. Walter
Lane. and Mrs. Bill Beavers, all of Oilton: Mrs. • E. L. Wardlow,
Cripple Creek, Colo., Robert Shuey. Rush Springs; Elvin Shuey
and Harold Shuey, both of Oilton. and one brother. Arthur Shuey,
Abernathy, Texas.
