STILLWATER - Mr. Warren Eugene Shull, 76, of Stillwater, died Monday at Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma City.

Services will be 10:30 am Wednesday at Strode Funeral Chapel, Stillwater, with Dr. Eldon Moelling officiating.

Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Stillwater.

Mr. Shull was born June 18, 1910, in Upland, Ind. He attended Sapulpa Public Schools and served as the student council president. He also launched the Central Conference Organization of Student Councils and founded the National Association of Student Councils.

He was a Sapulpa Herald reporter in 1935, an assistant advertising manager until 1943 and rejoined the Herald in 1947 as the city editor after serving in World War II.

Shull attended Oklahoma State University, Stillwater. He was the editor of the Oklahoma State Alumni magazine, "Outreach" in 1955 and was the head of OSU Alumni Publications.

He also was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was a former Veterans of Foreign Wars post commander.

Survivors include wife Doris; son William Edward of Carrollton, Texas; daughter Susan Marie of Stillwater; sister Mrs., Kenneth "Willabelle" Stivers of Sapulpa; half-brother William Edward of Ohio; and one granddaughter.
