Sapulpa Herald, Creek Co., OK 03-20-1988 Mr. Howard R. Simpson, 76, of Sapulpa, died Friday in Oklahoma Osteopathis Hospital, Tulsa. Services are pending with Smith Funeral Home. Mr. Simpson was born Aug. 17, 1911, in Sapulpa. After living in California, he returned to Sapulpa 30 years ago. He was a Baptist and retired machinist. Survivors include sons Lou Wayne of Prue and James of Lafayette, La.; brother Bill of Bixby; sisters Iva Hamm of Sapulpa and Naomi Still of Tulsa.
