Andrew Darrel Sims, 63, of Hot Springs, Ark. Died Thursday.

Services are to be held at 9:30 am Saturday at the Gross Funeral Home Chapel with Jack Smith of the Richard Street Church of Christ officiating.

Burial is to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Under the direction of Gross Funeral Home.

Sims was born April 30, 1930 in Lake City, Ark. To Edith Mildred Hunter Sims and David Edward Sims. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and a graduate of Trumann, Ark. High School. After returning from Korea, he returned to Trumann where he managed Sims Firestone and owned the Cotton Club. He also owned Shakey's Pizza Parlor franchises in Louisiana, Black Cat Liquor Store, Black Orchid Lounge and Oyster Bar, Incahoots in Memphis and the Wild Horse Saloon in Knoxville, Tenn.

He is survived by his wife Gerry Bradshaw Sims; daughters Phyllis Sims-Wellington of Hot Springs, Brenda Sims-Brooks of Little Rock and Beverly Sims-Moore of Sapulpa; mother Edith Sims of Trumann, brother Edward Gerald Sims of Blytheville, Ark.; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers are to be Dr. George P. Queen, Dr. D. Bluford Stough III, Johnny Anthony, Charlie "Dobber" Bettis; Chuck Easter, J.A. Talbot, Check Easter, Chuck Wood and Mutt Cooper. Honorary pallbearers are to be Jerry Sims, Marcus Sims, Patti Sims-Swinford, Jimmy Swinford, Floyd Moore, Angie Sims, Reed Parkerson, Joe Bradshaw, Judy Scott and Mrs. D. Bluford Stough III.

Memorials may be made to Ducks Unlimited or the American Heart Association.
