Park W. Slusher, 85, 419 W. Lee, died Friday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Services are to be held at 10:30 am Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Chapel with Tony Thorton officiating.

Burial is to follow in South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Slusher was born Feb 26, 1908 in Carrington, N.D. and was a retired maintenance man, an army air corp veteran of World War II, and a member of the Southside Christian Church. He enjoyed yard work and reading. He married Willa Emmons on Aug. 25, 1946 in Tulsa.

He is survived by wife Willa of the home; brother Roy Slusher of Montana; sister Betty Higgins of California; one nephew and two nieces.

Funeral services for Park W. Slusher were to be held at 10:30 am today in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Tony Thorton officiating.

Burial was to follow in the South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Serving as casketbearers were Pat Pray, Gene Myers, Bud Martelle, Hugh Dawson, O. D. Clayton and Troy Wiggins.

Slusher, a Sapulpa resident for the past 68 years, died Friday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.
