SMITH, Lorene Lorene Smith, 75, 1004 E. Jackson Avenue North, Sapulpa, died Thursday at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Saturday at Smith Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. She was born Jan 21, 1917, in Corsicana, TX. A resident of Sapulpa since 1954, she worked at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center. She was a member of the Baptist faith. She married J.K. Smith in June 1975 in Sapulpa. Smith was also the past secretary of the Women's Bowling Association. Survivors include her husband, J. K.; daughter, Patricia Hooper of Ft. Worth, TX; sisters, Clesta White and Weltha Salughter of Beaumont, TX; and one grandson. The body will lie in state until 1 pm Saturday at the Smith Funeral Home and the casket will not be opened at the service.
