Clinton, Okla -- Mr. Rodney Lee Sperle, 24, Clinton, died Oct 3 at St. Anthony Hospital, Oklahoma City, from injuries sustained in an Oct 2 automobile accident.

The accident occurred as Mr. Sperle was returning home from an Oklahoma State University football game.

Services were held Oct 6 at the First Church of God, Clinton, with the Revs. Roy Dobbs and Kevin Laufer officiating. Burial was in Clinton Cemetery under the direction of Kern-Scheider Kiesau Funeral Home, Clinton.

Mr. Sperle was born Aug 9, 1964, in Clinton. He grew up in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School.

Survivors include his daughter, 3-year old Kamber, of the home; parents Harry and Kathryn Lucas Sperle of Clinton, step-grandfather and maternal grandmother, J. B. and Norma Lucas Watt of Sapulpa; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Sperle of Clinton; maternal great-grandmother Mrs. C. E. Lucas of Sapulpa; brothers Bryan of Weatherford and Brian K. of Clinton; and sister Janelle Shockey of Springfield, Mo.

Mr. Sperle's mother is a former Sapulpan.
