James D. Spight, 75, Sapulpa, died Monday at his home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Friday, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Henry Busby officiating.

Burial will follow at North Heights Cemetery under the direction of Jacks Memory Chapel.

He was born Feb 10, 1917, to Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Spight in Newby. He married Orena Allen on Nov 17, 1942. They resided in Los Angeles, CA, before moving back to Sapulpa in 1989.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother.

Survivors include his wife, Orena; and sisters, Bernice Evan and Ann Johnson of Phoenix, AZ; and a host of nieces and nephews.
