MIDA STAMPER DIES APRIL 7TH
Mrs. Mida Lou Stamper, 85 died Tuesday, April 7 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rosa Sparks, at Trent after a prolonged illness. She was a member of the Christian Church.
She is survived by four sons, Ed and Chester Stamper, both of Hazel Green, Taulbee Stamper of Covington and Ray Stamper of Cincinnati; six daughters, Mrs. Sparks, Mrs. Ethel Koehler, Sellersburg, Ind.; Mrs. Clella Eaton, Clearwater, California; Mrs. Flossie Lacy, West Carrollton, Ohio; Mrs. Slyvia Cox, Ezel, and Mrs. Kathleen Ward of Jeffersonville, Indiana; two brothers, John Boland, Sapulpa, Oklahoma; William Boland, Dawson, Oklahoma; three sisters, Mrs. Fannie Rose, Masonic Home, Ky.; Mrs. Eva Gayhart, Ary, Ky.; Mrs. Lillie Bozarth, Redmond, Oregon.
Services were held at the Laurel Baptist Church at 10 a.m. on Firday, April 10 with Rev. Wilie Taylor officiating. Burial was in the Hazel Green Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of B.F. Porter and Son Funeral Home
