Mrs. Myrtle Rebeccah Staples, 95, of Arpelar, Okla., died Thursday at her home.

Services are scheduled for 2 pm Saturday, July 18 at the Arpelar Nazerene Church, under the direction of Chaney Funeral Home, McAlester, with the Rev. J. D. Henson officiating.

Burial will be at the Arpelar Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Bill McClenden, Jim Gibson, Joe Lucker, Frank Halloway, Jack Halloway and Glenn Jones.

She was born October 11, 1891, in Selestine, Okla., married Alex T. Staples June 26, 1906. Mrs. Staples was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith but had been attending the Nazerence Church of the last two years.

Mrs. Staples is proceeded in death by her husband.

Survivors include sons Alex B. of McAlester, William H. of Oklahoma City; daughters Nettie Wilson, and Lois Tanner both of Sapulpa; Gertrude Dunn of Oklahoma City, and Millie Selman of Haywood; 15 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
