Ted Steeples, 70, 205 S. Elm, died today at his home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 am Saturday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. David Houchin officiating.

Entombment will follow at Green Hills Mausoleum under the Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Steeples was born May 23, 1921, in Tulsa. He married Dorothy Moses in Tulsa Nov 7, 1942. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He was a former vice president-plant manager for Frankoma Pottery. He worked at Frankoma for 45 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church and the Kiwanis Club.

Survivors include wife, Dorothy; sons Dick and Terry Steeples, both of Sapulpa; sisters Jean Watkins of Sapulpa and Bertha Ledford of Tulsa; and five grandchildren.

In lieu of other remembrances, the family suggests donations to the cancer fund or hospice program of Saint Francis Hospital.

Casketbearers were Lloyd Fulks,, Bill Hatfield, Frankie Brumley, Harry French, Dr. Walter Cale and Gerald Hargrove.

Mr. Steeples, a Sapulpa resident most of his life, died Thursday at his home following an extended illness.
