Mr. Kenneth Howard Strain, 78, Mounds, died Tuesday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center of an apparent heart attack.

Services are pending with Owen Funeral Home.

He was born Nov 5, 1909, in Sapulpa, and lived in the Mounds-Sapulpa area all of his life.

Mr. Strain retired in 1975 from the John Zink Company. He had worked for Douglas Aircraft and Creek County.

He was preceded in death by wife, Ruby, on March 31.

Survivors include daughters Lois Thrasher of Okmulgee, Darla Harbeston of Mounds, Paula Watashe of Bristow and Diana Willibey of Mannford; brothers Don and Merle, both of Sapulpa; sisters Dorothy Crawford, Mable White and Laura Hedger, all of California, and Sylvia of Indiana; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
