Mrs. Virginia Maupin Tate, 66, Mounds, died Thursday at Hillcrest Medical
Center, Tulsa.
Services will be 10 am Saturday at Southern Hills Baptist Church with the Revs.
Monroe West and Dave Maupin officiating.
Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery, Sand Springs, under the direction of Smith
Funeral Home.
She was born November 2, 1923 in Miami, Oklahoma. She lived in Mounds 15 years
and was a member of the Southern Hills Baptist Church in Sapulpa.
Survivors include husband Homer, sons Dave of Altus, Oklahoma, Dennis of
Cleveland, Oklahoma, Mike of Oakhurst and Jim of Prue; daughters Judy McClothlin
of Oakhurst and Jerrirae of Mounds; brother Wilbur Brown of Kansas City, Kansas;
22 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
