Audie Boyd Taylor, 80, of Bristow, died Sunday in Bristow.

Funeral services are to be held at 2 pm on Tuesday in the Hutchins-Maples Funeral Chapel.

Burial is to follow in the Bristow City Cemetery under the direction of Hutchins-Maples Funeral home.

Taylor was born Sep 2, 1913 in Salem, Ark. and married Edith Pickering on May 6, 1967 in Cushing. He was a retired self-employed independent trucker and rancher, a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, co-founder of the Bristow Roundup Club. He loved rodeos, fishing and hunting and attended Salem, Ark. schools. He is preceded in death by his parents I.E. "Bud" and Annie Taylor; brothers Ed and Herbert Taylor and sister Elizabeth Tallent. 

Taylor is survived by wife Edith of the home; daughter Collen Briner of Lake Eufala; son Fred Taylor of Tulsa; brothers Lacey Taylor of Bennet, Colo. and Crobert Taylor of New London, Texas; sisters Beulah Snell of Bristow, Novella France of Denver and Irene Andrews of Henderson, Texas; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
