GEORGE TAYLOR George Dale Taylor, 78, 1323 E. Lee, Sapulpa, died Saturday at home. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am Tuesday at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd with Rev. Don Lawrence officiating. Visitation will be held until 9 tonight. Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home. He was born July 12, 1915, in Sapulpa to John Godfrey Taylor, Sr. and Maude Mason Taylor. A lifelong Sapulpa resident, Taylor married Ruby Esther Hubbard on Oct. 2, 1937, in Guthrie. A salesman prior to his retirement. Taylor worked for the Salad Master Company. Survivors include his wife, Ruby; daughter, Caroll Markham of Lawton; brother, Bill Taylor of Sapulpa; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Casket bearers will be Steve McMunn, Terry Keifer, Tom Nation, Winn Lusk, Scott Shipman, and Daniel Taylor. The family will headquarter at 610 West Mockingbird Lane.
