Oilton Funeral Monday For Marine Officer

OILTON. Aug. 24.--(Special) —Funeral services for Lieut. Robert A.. Taylor, 32, son of Mr. and Mts. I. C. Taylor. who was killed in a jeep accident in Oceanside, Calif., August 17, will be conducted at 2pm Monday in the First Methodist church here. Mason services will be conducted in Cushing cemetery.

Lieutenant Taylor was with the Fourth Rainer battalion of the U S. Marines and had fought on Guadal canal and New Georgia. He had been awarded two presidential citations and a Purple Heart. He graduated from Oilton High school in 1943.
