Mrs. L. E. Thomas, mother of Rex THOMAS, former football star, died this morning at 4 o'clock in a Tulsa hospital. She had been ill for more than a year.

Mrs. Thomas made her home here for more than a dozen years before going to Tulsa where she lived with her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Rex Thomas, She was a member of the Baptist church.

Surviving besides her son, Rex, are two other sons, H.J. of Muskogee, and D.S. of Lawton. A daughter Mrs. O. M. POWERS of Jackson, Miss., also survives along with a sister who lives in Arkansas

Funeral Services have been tentatively set for tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Moore's Funeral Home in Tulsa. Rev. Coe of Tulsa will officiate. Burial will be made in the South Heights Cemetery.
