Loretta Thornton, 69, of Kellyville, died Friday at her home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 am Tuesday in the Smith Funeral Chapel with Nolan Thomas and Aaron Walker officiating.

Burial will follow in Kellyville City Cemetery.

She was born Oct 15, 1922, in Henryetta, and was a Kellyville resident for the past 10 months. She was a lifelong Tulsa area resident and was retired from the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Department.

Survivors include daughters Delores Renfro of Kellyville, Carol Simmons of Wichita, Kans. and Sharon Salisbury of Tulsa; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Loretta R. Thornton were held today at Smith Funeral Chapel with Dr. Nolan Thomas and Aaron Walker officiating.

Burial followed at Kellyville Cemetery.

Casketbearers were Steve Todd, Kelly Todd, Jake Salisbury and Brutus Washington.

Mrs. Thornton died Friday at her home in Kellyville.
