Former Sapulpan Donald Edwin Thrash, 66, of Locust Grove, died Wednesday at Claremore Veterans Hospital.

Services will be 10:30 am Friday at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial will be at Kellyville City Cemetery.

Mr. Thrash was born Aug 12, 1923, in Kellyville. He was a U.S. Army veteran during World War II and worked as a pipe fitter until his retirement. He was a member of the VFW in Sapulpa and the Tulsa Pipefitters Union. He moved to Locust Grove seven years ago.

Survivors include brother Thomas Thrash of Locust Grove.

The family will headquarter at 305 W. Paige on the day of the service.
