Margaret McFann Thrift, 92, 602 S. Independence, died Friday at Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Monday at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Nelson officiating.
Burial will follow in South Heights
Cemetery.
She was born May 11, 1899, in Mermill, Ohio, and moved to Sapulpa in 1905. She graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1916 and from Lindenwood College in St. Louis, Mo. She married R. Brooke Thrift on Oct. 6, 1920 in the McFann family home.
Mrs. Thrift had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church since 1912 and served as an elder and was active in the Women’s Guild. She prepared bread for communion services for more than 20 years. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, American Legion Auxiliary, life member of the Sapulpa Historical Society, charter member of PEO Chapter DT and a Sapulpa Library Volunteer.
Survivors include daughters Dorothy Dobson of Sapulpa and Mary Ann Peard of Atlanta, Ga; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of other remembrances, the family requests donations be made to the memorial fund of the First Presbyterian Church.
The family will headquarter at 602 S. Independence.

Funeral services for Margaret Thrift were held today at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John Nelson officiating.
Burial followed at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Casketbearers were Lester Henderson, Guy Berry III, Bill Berry, Jack Billingsley, Tom Allen and Elmer Neel.
Mrs. Thrift, a Sapulpa resident since 1905, died Friday at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
