Jack Melvin Tindle, 64, 160 W. Jackson, died Friday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday at 2 pm in the Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Interment will follow at the Green Hills Mausoleum.

Mr. Tindle was born May 26, 1926, in Springfield, MO. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married Jean Davis December 31, 1949, in Springfield, and moved to Sapulpa in 1952.

Mr. Tindle was a Baptist. He was the owner of Tindle Tower Erection Company.

Survivors include wife Jean; father Marvin of Republic, MO; daughters Judy Kragel and Beki Steeples, both of Sapulpa; brothers Lee Tindle of Hazelwood, MO, Paul Dean Tindle of Kansas City, Joe Tindle and Mick Tindle both of Springfield, MO; sisters Erma Williams of Republic, MO, Dorothy Perkins of Nixa, MO, and Ruth Ann of Springfield; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Casket bearers were Kay Shibley, Steve Shibley, Mike Shibley, Fred Shibley, David Wadley and Dennis Wadley.
