Doyle D. Trice, 63, 916 W. Bryan, died Wednesday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Services are scheduled for 10 am Saturday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Millard McGuire officiating.

A committal service is scheduled for 2 pm Saturday in Memory Gardens, Guthrie, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Trice's body will lie in state at the funeral home until 9 am Saturday. The casket will not be opened at the services.

Mr. Trice was born Nov 24, 1926, in Chickasaw and had lived in Sapulpa most of his life.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He also was a retired cement contractor.

Survivors include wife Grace; sons Ken of Tulsa and Darrell of Sapulpa; daughters Pat McMartin, Debbie Yowell and Shelly Triplett, all of Tulsa; step-children John Eldredge and Margaret Henson, both of Sapulpa; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services for Doyle D. Trice were held Saturday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Millard McGuire officiating.

Burial was at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Guthrie.

Casketbearers were Jackie Powell, Bill Stanley, Bill Swabb, Ernie Childers, Ken Graham, Jim Downing, Bill Henson and Paul Yocham.

Mr. Trice, a longtime Sapulpa resident, died Wednesday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.
