BRISTOW - Mr. Carl Upchurch, 79, Bristow, died Sunday at Bristow Hospital.

Services are pending with Smith Funeral Home.

He was born Sep 7, 1907, in Missouri and moved to Bristow from Sapulpa 12 years ago.

Mr. Upchurch was a Baptist and worked as a machine operator at Bartlett-Collins Glass Co. before retiring.

Survivors include wife Grace, son Bill of Mounds; step-son Roy Henderson of West Hartford, Conn.; brother Elzie of Arkansas; and two grandchildren.
