Mary Vandecar, 79, of Bristow, died Wednesday at her home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Saturday at the Depew Church of God with the Rev. Clyde McGuire officiating.

Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery, Depew, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

She was born Nov 13, 1911, in Craven, Ark., and was a Creek County resident most of her life. She was a Baptist.

Mrs. Vandecar was preceded in death by husband Clarence, and one son and one daughter.

Survivors include sons Roy Vandecar of Bristow and Troy Vandecar of Depew; daughters Nettie Woods and Dora Woods, both of Bristow, Grace Barton of Sapulpa, Ida Ledgerwood of Depew and Nancy Keeton of Wichita, Kans.; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and 12 step-great-grandchildren.
