Mr. Jack H. Vanderweide, 64, 907 N. Moccasin, died Wednesday at the City of Faith Hospital, Tulsa.

Services are scheduled for 2 pm Monday at the Sand Springs First Assembly of God, with the Rev. Bill Weaver officiating.

Burial with military rites by Sapulpa Veterans Organizations, will be in South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Mr. Vanderweide was born May 28, 1922 in Tulsa, moved to the Sapulpa area in 1957 and was a 1941 graduate of Texas A&M University.

He served as a Captain in the U.S. Army during World War II in France and was a member of the Texas A&M Alumni Association and the Engineering Society of Tulsa.

Mr. Vanderweide was employed by Southwestern Computing service of Tulsa before retiring in 1986.

Survivors include wife Norma; daughters Jan Houston of Allen, Texas, Julie Newman of Dallas, Texas, Jill Ribich of Westerville, Ohio, Teresa Gilliland of Nashville, Tenn., Karen Fulps of Nashville and Penny Inman of Mounds; brother Sam of San Antonio, Texas; and 14 grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at 907 N. Moccasin.
