Charles Edwin VanDolah, 54, Sapulpa, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 1995 at
his home.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at south Heights Cemetery Chapel
with the Rev. Johnny Bilby officiating. Burial will be in South Heights
Cemetery, directed by Smith Funeral Home.
He was born Dec. 5, 1940 in Okmulgee.
He and his twin brother were owners of Van and Sons Super Service Park
Plaza Gulf. He retired in 1989. He was a Baptist and a 1958 graduate
of Sapulpa High School.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Louise VanDolah, Sapulpa; four sons,
Lonnie "Eddie" VanDolah, Sapulpa, Jeff VanDolah, Broken Arrow,
Doug VanDolah, Tulsa and Charlie VanDolah, Sacramento, Calif; a daughter,
Regina Cooper, Euless, Texas; two step-daughters, Tonya Rose and Karren
Stringfellow, both of Rush Springs, a brother Fred VanDolah, Sapulpa;
and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sue Van Dolah, on Jan.
16; his father, Bryan VanDolah, in 1994 and a sister, Patsy Main.
The family will headquarter at 216 W. Davis. The requests that friends
make donations to the St. John Hospice program.

Services for Ed VanDolah were held today in the South Heights Cemetery
Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Bilby officiating. Burial followed in South
Heights Cemetery directed by Smith Funeral Home.

Van Dolah
Carolyn Sue Shook VanDolah, 52, 4728 N. Oak, died Monday, Jan. 16,
1995 at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Southern Baptist Church with
the Revs. Elmer Whitehead and Nick Edwards officiating. Burial will
be in South Heights Cemetery with the Rev. Johnny Bilby officiating.
Services will be directed by Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel, Rush
Springs.
She was born June 22, 1942 in Waurika to Jack and Nova Wise Talley.
She married George Shook on March 8, 1961 in Omaha, Neb. and he preceded
her in death June 22, 1992. She married Charles Edwin VanDolah on July
23, 1993 in Miami, Okla.
She was a retired Customer Service Manager, working for 11 years in
teh Marlow Wal-Mart.
Survivors include her husband, Ed VanDolah, Sapulpa; two daughters,
Tonya Rose and Karen Stringfellow, both of Rush Springs; her mother,
Nova Talley, Rush Springs; a sister, Ima Talley, Rush Springs, a step-daughter,
Regina cooper, Dallas Texas; five step-sons, Charlie VanDolah, California,
Doug VanDolah, Tulsa, Jeff VanDolah, Broken Arrow, Eddie VanDolah, Sapulpa,
and Troy Shook, Omaha; her grandmother, Alma Purtell, Marlow; three
grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the St. John's Hospice.
