Charlie VanDolah, 92, 1117 E. Watchorn, died this afternoon at Bartlett
Memorial hospital. Mr. VanDolah was born Jan. 19, 1866 in Hamilton, O.
(sic), and came to Sapulpa in 1900.
He worked for the Frisco railroad as
a bridgeman and bridge inspector for 35 years. After leaving the Frisco,
he worked as a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah; two sons,
Leon Bryan of Sapulpa and Harry of Wichita, Kan.
Funeral services for
Charlie VanDolah will be held tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. at the Owen funeral
home chapel with Rev. C.A. Braun officiating.
Burial will be in South
Heights Cemetery. Pallbearers: Ralph McGrew, Earnest Crabtree, I.E.
Hardee, Clyde Hatten, Lynn Roebuck, and Jim Henry.

S. VanDolah, Dies
Services Saturday
Mrs. Sadie VanDolah; 83, 1119 East Watchorn, died at her home Thursday
morning, apparently of a heart attack, she was found by neighbors, after
members of the family became alarmed when she did not answer the telephone.
Mrs. VanDolah was born January 1,1876 in Bolivar, MO., and had been a
resident in Sapulpa, since 1903. She was the widow of Charley VanDolah
who died last year. She was a member of the Westside Baptist
Church.
Survivors are two sons, Bryan VanDolah, Sapulpa and Harry VanDolah,
Wichita, KS. and 9 grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday at Owen Funeral Home
Chapel, with Rev. Howard Allen officiating. Interment will be at South
Heights Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ralph McGrew, Earnest Crabtree, I.E. Hardee, Clyde
Hatten, Walter Post and Oscar Carnes.
