Clyde Victory, 80, Chelsea, died Thursday, April 27, 1995, at Specialty
Hospital in Tulsa.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at the First Christian Church
in Chelsea. Burial is to follow at the Chelsea Cemetery.
Victory was born March 28, 1915, in Reeds Springs, Mo. and moved to
Chelsea with his family in 1922. He attended Condry schools.
He was a member of the U.S. Army Air Corps, during World War II. He
married Barbara Robison, Jan. 24, 1942, in Vinita and the couple recently
celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary.
He was a farmer and enjoyed rearing livestock. He was preceded in death
by a brother, Claris Victory and sisters, Ivy Robison and May Victory.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara of the home; sons Wiley Robison,
Foyil; W.L. Victory, Olympia, Wash. Rex Victory, Alluwe; Ernie Victory,
Sapulpa; and one daughter, Marilyn White, Chelsea.
Other survivors are brothers, D.L. Victory, Sapulpa and Simuel Victory,
Coffeyville, Kan; a sister, Thelma Weakly, Pryor, 11 grandchildren and
5 great grandchildren.
