MANNFORD - Marion Francis Vineyard, 84, of Mannford, died Sunday at Hillcrest
Medical Center in Tulsa.
Services will be 10:30 am Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Mannford, with the
Rev. James Beck officiating.
Burial will be at Oak Hill
Cemetery in Mannford under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.
Mr. Vineyard was born June 4, 1906, in Sebastian County, Ark. He married Velah
Smith Oct 13, 1928, in Sapulpa.
He moved to Mannford from Kellyville in 1978. He was a member of First Baptist
Church, Mannford, and was employed as a farmer and later as custodian of the
Church of Christ located at the intersection of 29th and Yale in Tulsa.
Survivors include wife Velah; sons Sherman Vineyard of Claremore, Bill Vioneyard
of Mannford and Lonnie Vine;yard of Sand Springs; daughters Lajune Jones of
Tulsa and Delpha Pearcy of West Memphis, Ark.; brothers Mervin Vineyard of
Anaheim, Calif., and Floyd Vineyard of Hackett, Ark.; sisters Dessie Thomas of
Kellyville, Vada Martin of Witcherville, Ark., and Minnie Solesbee of Seal
Beach, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will headquarter at the Bill Vineyard residence west of Mannford.

Services for Marion Vineyard were today at the First Baptist Church of Mannford
with the Rev. James Beck officiating.
Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.
Casketbearers were Dean Jones, Mike Matheney, Greg Pearcy, Darrell Vineyard,
Jack Vineyard and Douglas Vineyard. Honorary bearers included Boyd Applegate,
Mervin "Red" Floyd, Bill Barnes, Red Gowdy and Carl Whitaker.
Mr. Vineyard died early Sunday morning at Hillcrest Medical Center.
