Earl Albert Virgin, 86, Kellyville, died Friday in Sapulpa.

Services will be held 2 pm Monday at Owen Chapel with the Rev. Dan Ratliff and minister Nolan Thomas officiating under the direction of Owen Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kellyville Cemetery.

Virgin was born July 22, 1906 in Kellyville to Lynn A. and Dora E. Virgin. He was married Jan. 10, 1927 to Lila Coop in Cushing.

Virgin served on the Creek County Rural Water District board, was a 32nd Degree Mason at the Kellyville Masonic Lodge and was a retired production drilling superintendent for Moncrief Oil, while living in Kamay, Texas.

Virgin was preceded in death by his wife in 1989.

Survivors include daughter Wilma Deel, Borger, Texas; brother Harold Virgin, Oroville, Calif,. Six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Casketbearers will be fellow members of the Kellyville Masonic Lodge.

The family will headquarter at 706 S. Cedar. The family has requested in lieu of flowers any donations be made to the building fund of the First Christian Church of Kellyville or to a favored charity.

Funeral services for Earl Albert Virgin were held today at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dan Ratliff and Minister Nolan Thomas officiating.

Burial followed at Kellyville Cemetery with Masonic rites conducted by Ernest (Junior) McGuire.

Casketbearers were Bud Martelle, Gene Hellard, Dixon Cartwright, Mirrel Williams, Tom Doty and Eldon Hobbs.

Mr. Virgin, 86, died Friday in Sapulpa.
