Rev. William A. Voland, 73, Route 7, died Friday at Tulsa Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m., Monday, at the First Assembly of God Church in Sand Springs with Rev. Bill Weaver officiating.

Burial is to follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Voland was born Jan 25, 1920, in New Haven, Conn. He was president of "Holy Spirit Seminars, Inc." and did evangelistic work for the past 19 years. He was past president of Sapulpa Ministerial Alliance and served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He was married for 53 years. He was preceded in death by son Billy Voland in 1989.

Survivors include Ruth E. Voland of the home; daughter Karen Winfield of Sapulpa; sisters Grace Chaplinski of Ft. Mills, S.C., Lorene Albertine of Marietta, Ga., Ruth Reinhardt of Bridgeport, Conn, Esther Boweno of Wallingford, Conn., and Eunice Nettleton of Southbury, Conn.; brother Ernest Voland of Franklin, N.C.; and two grandsons.

Funeral services for Rev. William "Bill" A. Voland were to be held at 11 am today in the First Assembly of God Church in Sand Springs with Rev. Bill Weaver officiating.

Entombment followed in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Serving as casketbearers were James Tate, John Dewberrry, Larry Warnock, Omer Winfield, Craig Merchant and Dr. Jim DeVoe.

Voland, a long-time Sapulpa resident died Friday.
