GLENPOOL ­ Mary G. Vowell, 92, Glenpool, died Wednesday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Friday at First Baptist Church, Glenpool, with the Rev. Jack Brown officiating.

Burial will follow at Bixby Cemetery under the direction of Leonard Funeral Home.

She was a lifelong Glenpool resident and a retired salesperson for Brown-Dunkin and Vi-Marie department stores. She was a member of First Baptist Church since 1958. She regularly attended the Glenpool Senior Citizens Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd A. Vowell, on Feb 13, 1956.

Survivors include son Floyd A. "Chief" Vowell Jr. of Glenpool; and sister Alice Noon of Longview, Texas.
